Terms and Conditions

My goal is to provide you with the best, most professional massage treatments, I encourage you to familiarise yourself with these terms and conditions to avoid disappointment or confusion. If you have any further questions or queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

 

Appointments and Bookings

Appointments can be made via email, phone, facebook messenger or through the online booking system. Your appointment time will be confirmed via myself directly. Your appointment time (e.g 60 minutes) will consist of massage, health intake forms, post-massage advice and pack up time. This will all be completed within the time frame. However for mobile appointments i will generally arrive 10 minutes early to allow for set up time outside of this time, to allow for more time for massage treatment.

 

Pricing

Every effort is made to ensure that prices are reflected accurately across all platforms including this website, facebook page and printed promotions, etc. It is possible that mistakes can be made which may cause pricing to differ. Refer to our website pricing for up to date prices and that is what you will be charged.

Bookings require a non-refundable initial deposit of $50 plus a $2.50 booking fee for online transactions.

Mobile bookings will incur travel fees depending on location and time. Please note that these may vary depending on the location and all pricing discussed is the final amount, all inclusive of travel fees.

Public Holidays incur an additional $20 surcharge per hour of treatment.

 

Cancellation or Rescheduling

No shows and last minute cancellations are certainly not favoured and may result in other clients missing out. You can cancel or change your appointment anytime via phone, facebook messenger or email with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior. Less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation or rescheduling may incur a $50 cancellation/rescheduling fee.

In the event you are not present on arrival, the therapist will stay for a maximum of ten minutes past the scheduled start time of your massage. If you have not arrived within this time frame and not notified your therapist, this will be considered a no show and you will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

 

Inappropriate Conduct

Under no circumstances will sexual comments, advances or aggressive comments or gestures be tolerated. Anything of this nature will result in termination of the appointment with full payment expected. 

 

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances. Gift Certificates can only be redeemed by the original certificate holder; however they may be redeemed over multiple appointments and may be used to provide treatment for multiple people, only when deemed so by AMD Massage Therapies. Gift certificates are subject to the cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Gift vouchers expire 3 years from date of issue. Vouchers will not be replaced when lost, damaged or stolen. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

 

Health Conditions

It is your own responsibility and essential to organise a doctors approval for treatment for any health conditions or medications that need to be considered regarding massage treatment. This will be used in conjunction with your health history form upon arrival. If the therapist deems a condition to be unsafe to treat without doctors approval, it is then subject to the cancellation and rescheduling policy.

After your booking is confirmed, you as the client are responsible for filling out a health history form, which you will be redirected to, no less than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Your health history form will be pre filled out in person prior to your appointment, and will be confirmed by the client in person on arrival.
